The Christmas Beast of Llangollen is a festive mountain bike endurance event from Snowdonia MTB Events, running the hills above Llangollen and the Ceiriog Valley in North Wales. Choose the 42km route with around 1,400m (4,600ft) of climbing across "the infamous Six Lumps," or the shorter 25km option, over bridleways, moorland and gravel climbs. Fancy dress is encouraged with prizes for best-dressed rider and decorated bike. Entry: £32 (25km) / £36 (42km), online entry with GPX provided.
