Dig Saturday with Dean Trail Volunteers (Every 2 Weeks on Saturday)

Come and help us develop and maintain the awesome trails in the FoD.

To volunteer you must be over the age of 18. Anyone between 12 -16 wishing to join us on a dig will need to attend with a supervising adult.

For new diggers

Meet us at the DTV container (left of the Pedalabikeway Café)

Wear something you don’t mind getting dirty

Wear comfortable sturdy boots

Bring gloves (gardening/building), waterproofs, sunscreen and insect repellent, a mask (for the briefing)

Bring a bottle or water and maybe some tea/coffee and snacks as we are sometimes digging away from the cycle centre

Don’t worry if you haven’t been on a dig with us before, you will be paired up with someone who has and we can show you what to do

You will be given a hi viz vest to wear for the day and safety briefing before you start

Digs start at 9.30am, and usually run until 12.30pm depending on the project being worked on.
