The QECP Trail Collective are hosting dig days at Queen Elizabeth Country Park on Saturdays 2, 16 and 30 May 2026, starting at 9:00am. Volunteers are welcome to help maintain the mountain bike trails at the park. No riding experience is needed and the day is open to anyone willing to get stuck in.
Work involves manual labour using hand tools including spades, rakes, hoes and mattocks. All volunteers will receive a tool and task safety briefing on the day.
What to bring: gloves, long trousers, sturdy footwear (steel toe caps if you have them), waterproof layers, hat, insect repellent, water, snacks and a cup for the tea break.
