Mountain Bike Demo Day at Haldon Forest Park

Mountain Bike Demo Day at Haldon Forest Park takes place on Sunday 29 March 2026, when The Bike Shed brings a fleet of current mountain bikes to the purpose-built trails at Haldon Forest Park in Devon. Riders will be able to try a range of models on the forest’s established trail network and speak directly with staff about setup, sizing and ride feel.

The demo fleet is expected to include bikes from several major brands including Forbidden, Santa Cruz, Whyte, Marin, Specialized and Merida. The idea is simple: test bikes on real trails rather than in a car park, giving riders a clearer sense of how different models perform on climbs, descents and corners.

The demo day is open to all riders, although advance booking is required. Each rider slot costs £25, while general access to Haldon Forest Park remains free as usual. Standard Forestry England parking charges apply at the trail centre.
