Peaty’s Steel City Downhill 2026 returns to Sheffield on Saturday 5th September 2026, bringing the UK’s best-known grassroots downhill race back to the woods for another one-day showdown.

Often described as “the biggest little race”, Steel City DH packs a full race atmosphere into a compact woodland course. Expect taped race lines, technical sections, tight turns and natural terrain that rewards precision and commitment. The event traditionally attracts a mix of elite riders, privateers and local racers, with a strong spectator presence lining the track.
