Northern Downhill Hamsterley TT

Hamsterley TT returns to Hamsterley Forest, County Durham on Sunday 22 March 2026, with Northern Downhill hosting its long-running Trail Bike Time Trial on the classic Transmission, Accelerator and Nitrous trails.

This is a downhill-style TT aimed at trail and enduro bikes, using red-graded Forestry England trails. Riders complete a single timed run, with electronic timing and live results at the finish arena.

Course

The course links Transmission, Accelerator and Nitrous into a single timed run, finishing at the Northern Downhill timing trailer. Riders are advised to inspect the course on foot and ride within their ability.

Rules and equipment

Northern Downhill rider rules apply, incorporating current British Cycling guidance. A full-face helmet is required.
