Alpe D'huez - Famous for roadies and the MegAvalanche
I'd ALWAYS say every mountain biker should try the MegAvalanche its just awesome. Upto 2000 mountain bikers there for the week practicing on the course then racing from Friday till Sunday.
I'm not sure I'd go here at any other time, the trails you can ride then are OK but really you only go here for the Mega or to ride the Mega course.
The social side of the Mega is as good as the racing and views!
