Western Park Freeride Trails are in Leicester. It is an urban bike park in a park setting.

Tracks

  • Western Park bike tracks suits BMX and dirt bikes. It has a BMX circuit, a large range of tabletops lines like the Mainline line with its six pack, berms, drops, and a pump track. 
  • It is a good place to practice jumping and the community is friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Other Stuff

  • Best not to ride when it has been wet weather as it is a clay soil base.
  • The trails are built by volunteers on Council land, are legal, and have not been demolished since 2002. They had their 11th birthday on April 2023 when they also won Cycling Friendly Destination for 2023 in the Leicester Cycle Awards.

Awesome little place

What a place to have within a built up city very community based something you rarely see any more it's like a legal version of unofficial trails

Community built bikepark

They have done loads of work over the past year adding new little jib lines complete make over on the main line and all achieved by the younger generation of riders nothing else like it in the UK

What do you like?

Community built and maintained no funding provided gives the younger generation somewhere they can call there own as they all chip in to keeping the place running
