Western Park Freeride Trails are in Leicester. It is an urban bike park in a park setting.

Tracks

  • Western Park bike tracks suits BMX and dirt bikes. It has a BMX circuit, a large range of tabletops lines like the Mainline line with its six pack, berms, drops, and a pump track. 
  • It is a good place to practice jumping and the community is friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Other Stuff

  • Best not to ride when it has been wet weather as it is a clay soil base.
  • The trails are built by volunteers on Council land, are legal, and have not been demolished since 2002. They had their 11th birthday on April 2023 when they also won Cycling Friendly Destination for 2023 in the Leicester Cycle Awards.

The mutts Nutts

The local lads make this place in more ways than one .

What do you like?

Something for most people with a great atmosphere when it's busy with locals all bouncing off of each other and pushing there skills . You get beginners to backflippers

What could be improved?

Locals would benefit from funding as everything things is the done at there expense that includes the tools and there time that must mass to thousands of hours of manual labor, no diggers spades,and strong backs 💪

Awesome

Great place to ride for all levels of rider. There is something for everyone whether you are progressing rider or an expert that wants to send it.

What do you like?

Always maintained to a high level friendly people always there to help

It's an hour away from me but worth the drive.

Brilliant place to ride. Something for every rider and a great place for progression. Highly recommended
