Tracks

Western Park bike tracks suits BMX and dirt bikes. It has a BMX circuit, a large range of tabletops lines like the Mainline line with its six pack, berms, drops, and a pump track.
It is a good place to practice jumping and the community is friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Other Stuff

Best not to ride when it has been wet weather as it is a clay soil base.
The trails are built by volunteers on Council land, are legal, and have not been demolished since 2002. They had their 11th birthday on April 2023 when they also won Cycling Friendly Destination for 2023 in the Leicester Cycle Awards.

pretty good

some great bits but some of the jumps are super hard to read, short when you expect long and vice versa

Jumps a bit inconsistent and the vibe is a little too "cool"

The local

My local spot so it’s the best . Intercity jump heaven with the best crowd of locals you could find. Been digging here for over a decade and it just keeps getting better and better. This is the only free spot like it , run by locals and built by locals and free in every way .

What do you like?

The community is second to none , over the years we have gifted out bikes for free helmets for free and many other related parts . We have taught me a youngster and the not so young how to perfect there skills.

What could be improved?

It’s crappy when it’s rained but that just means we do more maintenance/building so not all bad .
