Tracks

Western Park bike tracks suits BMX and dirt bikes. It has a BMX circuit, a large range of tabletops lines like the Mainline line with its six pack, berms, drops, and a pump track.
It is a good place to practice jumping and the community is friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Other Stuff

Best not to ride when it has been wet weather as it is a clay soil base.
The trails are built by volunteers on Council land, are legal, and have not been demolished since 2002. They had their 11th birthday on April 2023 when they also won Cycling Friendly Destination for 2023 in the Leicester Cycle Awards.

What do you like?

So many amazing people with crazy skills .like a guy i also met the other day after trying the tables. And failed .lol fez i beleive his name was . Omg this guy was killing it . .left me speachless with what he was able to do . With eaither his trek or his specialized hardtail . Top bloke .great rider

What could be improved?

No bogs . Could really do with a cafe or a bike hut .close . But other then this no bad parts . Thumbs up lads .keep up the work

Brilliant!!

Brilliant park to learn new jumps and just to start off. The maintainence of the track is awesom, very well looked after always new things being built and the society around the park isn't so welcoming.

What do you like?

Brilliant place to ride for all levels of rider. Wether you are just learning to jump or like to send it big.

What could be improved?

Can't think of any bad point apart from the restrictions they have as an organisation to build freely.

I seen I guy there today on a black and white transition that must of been a pro of some sort because he was amazing.

What do you like?

First time visit today definitely not my last though. Has so many little lines full of jumps to keep you entertained for hours . Tables, drops ,step downs,step ups and gaps everything you could want.

What could be improved?

You can't sleep there .

Westernpark is one of the best kept places i know of in the midlands .great days ride .alway bring the family . The park is very welcoming to all.what ever your skill set .. top marks from me
