Western Park Freeride Trails are in Leicester. It is an urban bike park in a park setting.

Tracks

  • Western Park bike tracks suits BMX and dirt bikes. It has a BMX circuit, a large range of tabletops lines like the Mainline line with its six pack, berms, drops, and a pump track. 
  • It is a good place to practice jumping and the community is friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Other Stuff

  • Best not to ride when it has been wet weather as it is a clay soil base.
  • The trails are built by volunteers on Council land, are legal, and have not been demolished since 2002. They had their 11th birthday on April 2023 when they also won Cycling Friendly Destination for 2023 in the Leicester Cycle Awards.

Very well made jumps that can be ridden on everything from bmx to dh rig! Enjoy the trails every time I ride here. Friendly locals and a brilliant vibe.

Great little spot

I came here whilst passing through the area. It's in a big reasonably central urban park a bit tucked away. It has lots of really progressive jump lines for all levels and all ages. It is addictive, fun and the locals are really friendly and happy to give good advice. Nice vibe!

Something for all

Top place to shread!!

What do you like?

Fun day out jumps, burms, step up, drops kids trail plenty for all abilitys. Great place to practice or for the experienced. Toilet facilities 2-3 min walk across the park, garage with toilet and subway 5 min walk down the main road. Great team work WPFF ??

What could be improved?

Lack of funding from the local council.

Inspiring community trails

Loads of jumps with short runs and an easy push up. It's they place to go to practice jumping that's for sure.

What do you like?

Something for everyone of all levels with Leicester city centre 2 minutes away so there is every thing you need and more within minutes plus a huge park surrounding the trails.

What could be improved?

I think the locals could make this place amazing if there local council gave some funding to help with the trails progression.

friendly community trails to suit all skill levels lots of different line combinations trails are well maintained and very flowy

So many lines to transfer for here to there and everywhere.

Choice riding, choice scene.

What do you like?

Hit the berm on the pump track at full speed (death grip) coming off the fence line. Total g force whips you round there. Sic. Transfers on the tabletop line are mint too. So many lines all with a short push back up.
