Tracks

Western Park bike tracks suits BMX and dirt bikes. It has a BMX circuit, a large range of tabletops lines like the Mainline line with its six pack, berms, drops, and a pump track.
It is a good place to practice jumping and the community is friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Other Stuff

Best not to ride when it has been wet weather as it is a clay soil base.
The trails are built by volunteers on Council land, are legal, and have not been demolished since 2002. They had their 11th birthday on April 2023 when they also won Cycling Friendly Destination for 2023 in the Leicester Cycle Awards.

Well maintained trails ride till dark. Ace place come here nearly every day & wkends

What do you like?

Great trails, bike shop with mechanic onsite, cafe, toilets & friendly farmer johns dogs & pigs are great too.

Mint little spot

Spent the day here and it was sound as. Love the jumps , really well made and all built by the locals that are as nice as the jumps. Atmosphere was brilliant,30 or so riders all bouncing off each other skills.

Western Park are awesome trails for all abilities

Western Park Bike Trails are great because they offer such a wide range of jumping areas for all abilities in a compact area within a very accessible location in the west of Leicester. There's always a brilliant atmosphere and lots of support for all riders.

What do you like?

Everything, especially atmosphere.

What could be improved?

Because it's in an urban park, car parking can sometimes be a bit tight.
