Description

Hilsea Pump Track is a free, fully tarmac pump track beside Hilsea Lido in Portsmouth, with banked berms and a start hill. It is open to the public and free to ride on bikes, BMX and scooters.

The Track

  • A 57 by 35 metre tarmac pump track, just south of Hilsea Lido and surrounded by a perimeter fence.
  • Tarmac berms and a start hill let you keep speed through the loop by pumping rather than pedalling.
  • Free and open to the public, so you can turn up and ride.

Facilities

  • Public toilets near the track. More toilets, including a Changing Places toilet, at Hilsea Lido, plus Hilsea Lines Cafe for food and drink.

Getting Here

  • Parking: limited spaces at the Lido car park beside the play area.
  • By bus: the Hilsea interchange stop is right next to the track and is served by several bus routes.
