I love porc ! The races there are organised really well and the tracks are great , constantly evolving . There's something for every skill level and the park seems to be getting better and better as more an more time and money is put into it . Always a great rideing atmosphere .
What could be improved?
I don't drive so it's a bit of a ride from the train station . But then so is pretty much every bike park in the south , so it's really no biggie . Nothing really bad to say .
I will post a video to show the quality of PORC Bike park. Definately a place that should be in contentions of being the producers of the best trails in the UK.

I have grown up to be close with the mountain biking community around PORC. Over the past few years I haven't had any issues with anything, the trails are phenomenal, the service is fantastic and the races the Mike Joseph hosts, I feel are some of the best in to country. It has developed into a place for all variations of riding, from cyclocross to downhill mountain biking, 4x and dirt jumping. Everything is continuously being developed to keep the trails maintained and new features to be installed. My media has greatly benefited from this venue, as it's where I film and ride the most, purely because it is such a fun place to ride, and everyone is extremely helpful and friendly.

Some of the old trails are overgrown however these were never ridden much anyway, compared to the more recent, flowy freeridey trails.
I've only started riding and loving it! Already practising on the smallest of lines in the DJ quarry and getting to know the DH tracks, so many of them and different options to connect them it's unbelievable !!!
I like the fact I can wash my bike free of charge after riding! First place like that , although haven't been riding for too long so there might be more I'm not aware of. Usually ride in Perry Woods, did visit Aston Hill and Woburn and have to say PORC is my favourite.
Great place to ride and people!
What could be improved?
Not the easiest way to get there if not driving but guess there's no easy way to places like that.
Best South East Bike Park with an Uplift,Bike Shop,Hot Food&Drinks and bike wash facilities on site.
What do you like?
Versatility, superb Dirt Jumps (wow, that's so inspirational looking at the regulars doing flips, whips, corks etc.), 4X with Schwalbe British 4X Series holding one of their rounds here for many years now, 7 dedicated and maintained DH runs for riders of all age and skill (chicken runs around big features) with an Uplift (£5 for five runs and you can use them anytime, not only on the day of purchase!) and even CycloCross events so XC as welcomed as everybody else.
Hot Food and Drinks being a Big Plus! Toilets and Free Bike Wash facilities, they are building a proper restaurant now too!
Amazing atmosphere and the vibe created by friendly locals and regulars, always someone on the site to help, direct or advise making PORC extremely progressive and leaving everyone with a smile and feel of accomplishment.
Recently I've read on PinkBike about the first all year Bike Park somewhere in America...well it is the second one as the first one is here in Kent! PORC is rideable all year long!
What could be improved?
Some complain about the tracks being short - just a reminder - we are not in Whistler or the Alps, not even in the mountains, this is KENT at its best!
One of the reviews says the trails are too bike parky - this is a bike park first of all, secondly he clearly haven't ridden all of them to make such a bold statement.
The only bad point I can think of is that there is couple of spots where it's getting a bit soggy and greasy after a lot of rain but hey! This is England right?!
i absolutely love this place it is around 40 miles from from where i live and i still try to get here most sundays ;)
the races are mostly monthly and its vary rare to see less than 100 riders on the day.
there is alot of variety of trails from big flat out senders to tight twisty wooded sections.
the jumps and trails are built really well (mike joseph) and are regularly maintained.
most race days there are a new or improved line keeping things interesting :)
plus for under sixteen the price is unbeatable.
What could be improved?
its worth walking the tracks first time(watch out for mad wobblers behind you though) because big jumps and drops can creep up on you if your unaware.
near the end of the trails it starts to flatten out and can become boggy.
runs are usually sub 1 minuet.
water drainage can become a problem with alot of rain.
its around a 15 minuet cycle from penshurst train station and is all up hill on the way back so on a full downhill rig with wet screams after a whole day riding well it begins to take its toll ahah. but worth it none the less :D
Every weekend my self, hubby and my 12 year old go here......I go for the tea, bacon sarnies and the chat....hubby and boy for the riding and or racing.
Since mike Joseph has attacked the race lines....with new ones popping up all the time...porc is the place to be. He is progressing the trails at a rate where his family never see him!!! There is something for everyone, beginner through to sponsored rider.even I can ride the first straight!!!
What do you like?
The atmosphere the cafe and the newly opened whisper bikes shop, the toilets!!!!
