Watchmoor Bike Park

Watchmoor Bike Park is a small bike park area that is free to ride and situated in the far corner of Moors Valley Country Park. The area is run by the Forestry Commission. Te compact site features:

  • 🟢  Green trail loop with some awesome fun berms and rollers.
  • 🟦 Blue trail top to bottom, an absolute roller coaster of a flow trail.
  • 🔺 Red trail top to bottom, a mix of surfaced and natural sections ready to develop into a mix of flow and technique.
  • 🟦 Blue jump line.
  • 🔺Red jump line of pre-fabricated wooden take-offs, perfect for dialling tricks and going large.

The Blue

  • The Blue trail starts at the car park and goes through the forest (4.5 miles) The trail is one way only and mostly flat with lots of dips.

Through the forest singletrack (Blue)

What do you like?

- Great design with a lots of tight bends - Great flow - decent length - boardwalk and new rock sections are fun - good for most abilities, not intimidating but still challenging enough to keep your focus - Moors Valley has good facilities, cafe, clean toilets, plenty of other activities available

What could be improved?

- I would like to see the single track have some additional red or black sections leading off the main blue route to add some more variety and challenge for the more experienced rider. - Better signage around the singletrack warning walkers, dog walkers etc not to walk along the trail, as this is becoming a more frequent problem.

Would you recommend?

*Yes*
