Description
Healey Nab mountain bike trails are in Lancashire close by to Chorley and Preston. The easiest way to get there is via higher house lane, between The White Coppice and Chorley in Lancashire, The Nab is Lancs CC owned and has a short Red and a Black MTB trail.

I Dig Healey Nab group is dedicated to the construction and maintenance of Healey Nab mountain bike trails in conjunction with Lancs CC.
There are several trails at Healey Nab to suit all skill levels:
Red Climb
- This trail leads from the access path to the trail head. It features switchbacks and some technical rocky and rooty areas
Red Downhill
- Fast, flowing downhill trail featuring berms, rock gardens, drops and jumps. All features are either rollable or can be avoided.
Black Downhill
- Fast downhill trail featuring tight berms, jumps and drops. This trail has two alternative versions
Red Return
- A trail through the lower woods containing a mix of downhill and climbs. Featuring the collapsed wall rock garden.
Rear Red
- A gentle red trail at the rear of the site, this is an area for future development

- The Red XC loop and black DH track were originally designed by trail builder Rowen Sorrel and built in 2010 with funding from Lancashire County Council in conjunction with local volunteers.
