Healy Nab, YEAH!!
OK Folks,
A review of the red route for XC and enduro riders. Really good red loop, do it quick and you will get under 7 minutes. If you race XC or enduro hit the Nab at full gas and I will assure you it will be stunning, superb training to get your skills sharpened and your fitness high. Some people have said that its not technical enough (more technical than any regional XC MTB races), tell you what, go round the loop at full gas and tell me you did not have at least one moment, its tech as %$*& at warp factor!!
I'm at a fairly good level of fitness and skills ability, doing 6 laps or more of the red route non stop is a proper work out in all aspects, the last third of the loop is a climb, defo gets the lungs and legs feeling the burn. It holds up well with the weather and I ride it regular on a training loop to pop into the the nab to do a lap or two. Not a full days dedicated riding to be had but great to pop in and do a few laps. If your into XC racing, get yourself down and do 8-10 laps non stop, easily equivalent to a regional XC race. Love the Nab. Try it at night, double amazing.
What do you like?
As above
What could be improved?
None for XC and enduro.
Would you recommend?
*Yes*
