Not really worth the trip on its own
I came to this trail centre on the train, and even if I had come on roads it seems a bit in the middle of nowhere. With trails designed by Rowan Sorrell I was expecting something a bit more special. After a half hour slog up a track to get to the forest, I found my self at the top of the centre and stuck mainly to the black route. It was ok, with a few separate lines but in reality a bit short and only entertained me for a couple of hours sessioning before I headed off again quite disappointed. I've heard there is plenty of good riding around if you want to link it into a longer XC route though
What do you like?
-probably nice if you're in the area to get out for a couple of hours.
-some big-ish jumps if that's your thing
-lots of good riding locally
What could be improved?
-Miles away from anywhere
-No facilities, just a collection of trails
-Not nearly enough for a day's ride
Would you recommend?
*No*
