Review for Hamsterley Forest MTB Trails

The downhill mountain bike trails at Hamsterley Forest in County Durham are some of the steepest in the UK. The top section is smooth with fun kickers and a massive tabletop. The bottom section is steep and very rocky with drops strewn all around. The route is brill but needs treating with respect. Lots of respect.This is a pretty awesome downhill trail but it is not for the faint hearted. Full body armour and then some..I left some of my wrist on the trail. Not tried the XC yet but heard it is great. Local hospital is close and dead friendly (and quite accustomed to accommodating bikers).. ride within your limits.
