What do you like?
Very proactive community for the Downhill and general trails. Kids are very well catered for with coaching from Hamsterley Trailblazers. Newest trail The K-Line is one of the fastest and funnest trails I have ridden in the UK but it needs some skills too. There is plenty for all abilities here.
What could be improved?
Signposting is a weakness and I see many visitors who benefit from local advice to find the best of the trails. Bike hire shop and basic toilet facilities, they seem to spend a lot on walking trails and general family stuff compared to the bike trails which are mostly thanks to a great volunteering group
