Paul Barnes:
Guisborough forest walkway and visitor centre
Guisborough is a great biking venue. My advice would be don't just follow the badly signed red route or you will miss everything this venue has to offer. The best trails are hidden amoungst the trees so find a friendly local (there are plenty of us about) and go explore.
What do you like?
Great natural trails, awesome views over to the coast, nice and quiet when you get away from visitor centre.
What could be improved?
Can be very muddy in the winter. It's a shame the forestry commission don't put more effort in to maintaining and developing the trails.
