Not impressed
FC, send your trail builders just over the border to visit the 7 Stanes trails and see what can be achieved.
What do you like?
Black section very good but also short (1KM). (Tip use the adjacent footpath as a push up path rather than go right round the very long climb on the North face trail)
What could be improved?
50% fire road which I could accept if the single track was good but it was just short diversions off the fire roads into very bumpy (esp on hardtail), twisty, slow and mostly flat single track. There was no flow at all to the track and only one descent decent. Some people may like this and I wouldn't like to see at trails the same, but really this was not much fun.
Parking a rip off at the visitors centre but you don't have to start there as its a circular trail.
Would you recommend?
