I've been going to Gisburn for well over ten years and the place is constantly progressing, unlike a lot of trail centres which have been built and then left, Gisburn almost has something new every time you turn up. This is all down to the amazing volunteers that just put hours and hours into the trails but also backed up closely by the forestry commission. This joint approach just seems to work. Get yourself along and enjoy.
There really is something for most levels I regularly ride with my 11 year son and wife on some of the blue trails and then with mates on the red and blacks.
What could be improved?
The trail are mainly built and maintained by volunteers and as such occasionally some of the vast trails suffer from lack of maintenance especially after a heavy winter. These areas and few and far between and are usually sorted fairly quickly.
