Awesome Fun

I've been to Gisburn three times now, once before the major overhaul and twice after. The 8 is yet to bore and I'm sure it won't be too long before I return again this summer. Lots of technical, rocky sections punctuated with smooth flowing berms and of course - Hully Gully, a brilliant trail feature that may seem scary at first, but once you've ridden it you'll be screaming out to do it again. The skills loop is a brilliant little addition to the center, not too long and with a brilliant variety of features to help you improve in all areas of riding. Last but not least, the cafe is very welcoming and great after a hard days riding with a wonderful selection of cakes and some smashing bacon butties, you don't want to miss it. I am yet to ride the Hope Line at Gisburn but I am told by friends that it is brilliant.

What do you like?

- Very varied trail with lots of challenging features and the odd optional 'man challenge'. - Great little skills loop. - Wonderful views from the top of the Hope Line. - Smashing bacon butties.

What could be improved?

- Some parts of the trail could do with a bit of maintenance. - The longer rocky sections can be exhausting if you're out of practice from a long winter of no exercise.

Would you recommend?

*Yes*
