Hinking for a day out at gisburn? Grab it with both hands and go for it. Great reservoir walk too for the non cyclists. Volunteers have really worked a bit of magic keeping gisburn up there with the best of them.
What do you like?
Brilliant variety of trail, I ride there every week. If you want an easy ride or a hard ride, gisburn can cater to your needs. People complain it's rough and beat up.. it's mountain biking not a pavement. There's suspention for a reason! Everything from techy climbs + downhills to fast swooping single track and family friendly trails. End of the ride great cafe with great food and drink .
What could be improved?
my only criticism would be the amount of rubbish on the floor. It's not gisburns fault, if you can bring it with you, you can take it back with you or keep it till you find a bin. It's not hard and keeps the forest looking beautiful.
