Gisburn the magnificent
Overall one of the best trail centres I've ridden. If you like technical climbing along with white knuckle descents this place is for you.
What do you like?
The sheer variety of trails, smooth flowing berms to rocky and rooty technical sections.
Every section of trail is interesting. A great measure of fitness and skills level all the way around the Red loop with the option to push yourself on the optional black sections, and no long tedious fire road climbs. Yes there are fire roads on the red loop but they are short lived and you're soon back on the technical stuff.
Well maintained trails and facilities. Good Cafe.
What could be improved?
The jump up from the red to blue is quite a marked leap compared to other centres ive ridden. Also I've heard comments on the blue loop being a bit too short.
