FOD-tastic

It's my favourite place to ride, I'm there every weekend even though it's an hours drive. The variety of riding means I'll never get bored and the trails are fun whatever the weather is doing.

What do you like?

Where do you start? The blue graded Verderers trail is an absolute blast, suitable for less confident or inexperienced riders as it gives them a taste of what trail riding is like, with a bit of a challenge thrown in. For more experienced riders, it's a fast flowing, grin inducing blast with loads of opportunities to get the tyres of the ground. The red graded Freeminers has a more natural and technical feel, with a couple of stiff climbs and provides a good work out. The DH tracks aren't especially long, but they're steep in places and offer different challenges whether on a trail bike or a full DH rig. There are tons of off-piste trails too, where a guide or local knowledge is of great advantage. The uplift service is well run, efficient and the drivers are very friendly, whilst the cafe offers great pies, burgers, cakes and really good coffee.

What could be improved?

The queues can be quite long for the cafe at busy times and the toilet/shower facilities really could do with extending.

Would you recommend?

*Yes*
