A bit of what you fancy
Highly recommended trail centre for all abilities.Loads to do and plenty of forest to explore
What do you like?
The "FOD" has so much to offer.
From family bike trails to uplifts and Black down hill l runs - not to mention some of the best "off piste" riding I have experienced in the UK so far.
The site is known for its famously long descent on the Blue Verderers trail and its ever changing Red rated Freeminers - both are worth the visit if you in the area.
For the more adventurous there are many short black rated runs, some requiring high levels of skill and commitment.
The real gems of the 'Forest though lie outside of the trail centre and when you get to the cafe ask around or pick up a FOD MTB brochure and get yourself on a guided ride.
What could be improved?
Cafe and car park gets busy - but this is a testament to the quality and variety of trails.
Its possible to run into novice riders on the trails because a lot of exploring and experimenting is done at FOD by all abilities
Would you recommend?
