Not half bad
Excellent confidence building trails. Gentle step up from dark blue to red. I've yet to discover the black run, I've not seen any sign posts for it.
Small uphill sections provide good opportunities to build up fitness without breaking your soul.
It's early days, but the trails appear to be well made, good amount of berms, drop offs, etc.
What do you like?
Trail Length: Nice and short. Get a couple of laps in to pick up the flow of the course quickly.
Location: Given the urban sprawl of Manchester, this is a hidden gem. Might want to go with a small group for backup though ;)
Facilities: Free parking at the velodrome, Cafe, Evans Cycles, Asda, McDonalds(!)
What could be improved?
Trail Grading - Might be missing something, but very little difference between the dark blue and red runs
Sign Posts - Need to be bigger. Possibly need to be tamper proof as well, could of sworn some cheeky scamps swapped the blue/red signs around at one point. Black run needs better signage
Would you recommend?
