Good for a few hours trail riding with a short red route and a bit of northshore to test your skills.
Red route start straight out of the carpark with a handy map to help keep you on track.
There are a few other trails within the woods if you can find them.
What could be improved?
Red route is very short which when wet can hold the water
Burms feel as if they need more height to them to gain more speed on the exit.
No on site facilities
Ita my local trail, its decent in summer, powerline is good, theres other tracks in the woods, but you have to find them. In winter its very muddy and to be honest powerline needs repaired, theres lots of standing water on the track, contacted FC for volunteering to repair track but no interest from them.
I wouldn't want to go here every weekend, but if your pushed for time there is still fun to be had here and there's enough hills to keep your fitness up.
What do you like?
Very close to Newcastle, large enough to make a morning or an afternoon of it, good bit of technical north shore to improve riding skills.
