For a Forestry England park it is good, but has it good and bad parts. Trail levels are more family and low level skill. Some good parts on the full Monkey trail but the uphill to down hill ratio is not enough, you feel like your just going uphill for hours to ride a very short flat down before being hit with another uphill. The Birches Valley side trails are all very well maintained with new features (extended loop) added from time to time. Unfortunately the Moors Gorse/Stile Cop side just seems a bit forgotten about. Obviously you can't always control nature, but a bit of maintenance so you don't get slapped and cut by multiple brambles when doing a trail wouldn't go a miss. You can tell the forestry work hard on making this all look pretty and nice but for a skilled mountain biker, I'd go Stile Cop or find the non existing off-piste. Compared to FOD or Llandegla it is miles behind in trail variety and skill level.
Bike shop and Cafe.
Needs a skills area like most other bike parks. More trails added with jump lines. More black lines for trails rider that aren't rock features. Parking has become ridiculously expensive but can just parked elsewhere and ride up.
