Description

Moos Trails are a Dirt Jump facility in Clyne near Swansea in South Wales. Clyne Riders are the volunteer group behind this facility and in 2014 they built a new waymarked XC trail in Clyne Wood to add to the natural trail riding and the Dirt Jumps on offer in Clyne.

Moos Trail Dirt Jumps

  • This is a progressive and large Dirt Jump park with multiple lines. All the trails are hand built with volunteer labour. Only open when dry. Check out the Facebook Group.

Natural and Waymarked XC Trails (Millers)

  • They have a waymarked XC route which is 6km long and graded red & black. It consists of 2 loops, connected with a common climb. Built by the Back on Track trail building team it launched in 2014.
  • To get to the start you go up the tarmac cycle track up to the lake and it starts on the left just past the lake.
  • It's also known as the Millers and XC route. Check out the Facebook Page.
  • Clyne also has natural trails in the vicintiy to explore.

I can't think of a title

great ride, great locals and great pub what more could you want?

What do you like?

on a cycle path so it's easy to get to. Regular dig days so the trails are in a good condition all year round. Good group of regular riders who are allwase welcoming when I turn up. trails are fantasticly built so that thay are rollable (apart from the dirt jumps. Thay are waaaay above my ability, Haven't tried them yet, probably won't ever, you guys are gnarly.) until you have the skills and confidence to raise your game allowing for progression of skills witch will improve your times. Shorter trails mean you can go back and hit sections again and again improving and focusing on a particular feature. I have learned more on these trails than anywhere elce. Limping distance to singleton a&e. The local pub offers fantastic food and a nice post ride pint.

What could be improved?

Not realy a massive bad point but you may come across the odd walker walking up/down the trails. It's pretty rare and the trails are sign poasted but keep an eye out.

Would you recommend?

Yes
