Amazingly fun trails that are as much fun to ride in the rain as when they are dry and dusty. Great staff, great cafe and a huge variety of trails make this a fantastic trail centre.
What could be improved?
No change or shower facilities, which is a shame. Bike Shop is far too expensive.
Great place to ride. We made a weekend of it with the Forest of Dean and it was one of the best weekends we had on a bike.
What do you like?
Great Variety of trails, efficient uplift service, good progression from Blue to Red to Black.
50 Shades of Black is up there in my top 3 trails to ride in the UK
What could be improved?
Have to plan miles in advance to get on the uplift (usually 2-3 months for a weekend) and the climb to the top if you are riding is a beast.
They don't have much in the way of toliets/showers and the food is good if a little over priced compared to some other centres.
Always seems to be raining, but the trails do hold up really well to all weathers!
We are proud to call it home!! Right on our doorstep!!! Weekends are busy but dont let it put you off...the uplift does get busy at times but why wouldnt it, its the number 1 in the UK
What do you like?
EVERYTHING!!! Its a Bike Park!!
Something for everyone... Has plenty of DH trails!! Lets hope some people who reviewed didnt just ride badgers run.
We LOVE BPW and everything to do with it!!
We are happy to call it our home!!
What could be improved?
People stopping in stupid places on some trails and pushing up the sections!! DONT DO IT!! Think of others while riding and not just yourself!
Nothing to do with BikePark Wales though, People need educating and BPW are the ones to do that!! Cant ride the starting feature? Dont do the rest of the trail. Common sense would be great to see from riders all over the UK not just at BPW
