With the Afan valley being 12 miles long with easy access to the 'Bwlch' and 'Rhigos' mountains at its north end and some beginners trails as well as cycle track starting at the south end of the valley Afan really has everything for all your mountain biking needs whether you are brand new or very experienced in this discipline. Throw in the fact you have 3 trail centres a skills loop and a 'Rookie' trail you can begin to see how much is on offer, whether its an epic or a short sharp thrill ride you will not be disappointed. Facilities are second to none with ample car parking, showers in two of the centres and Cafes plus expert help on hand with numerous places offering accommodation with the mountain biker and other outdoor persons in mind you can spend days having a ball in your favourite pastime. If the weather is nice and the trails flowing what a place to be and even if it is raining the trails hold up well as they are well maintained with new sections being added recently what a choice. Any Mountain Biker who visits will be smiling when leaving.
