Besides the red and black routes there is blue scar which is a very good starting point of anyone wishing to take up biking. It also has rookie tracks along a Tarmac path near the centre for the young ones. Very good selection here for all the family. If you havnt visited Afan yet it is a must.
What do you like?
Afan offers some of the best climbs and best decents I've done in the uk. Glyncowrg has a more technical feel to it with the rocky climb (hard but well worth it) but a decent that will make you smile. The wall side of Afan is one of the best while penhydd still offers you a good day of riding different tracks.
What could be improved?
Ccctv camera needed in the rhysln car park as bikes have known to be pinched here.
