Description
Pitmedden Forest Mountain Bike Trails are in the Perthshire, Fife border in Scotland. It’s a lot of trails packed into a larger than it looks forest, with a criss-cross of short downhill tracks to ride and session (non waymarked).

Pitmedden Trails
- The trails are short with some fast sections. Each mountain bike trail is jam packed with loads of little features from root jumps to small gaps and drops. It can be steep and there are even some sizeable road gaps. Decent place for sessioning and improving.
- Some the trails to look out for here are for black gradings: Lumps and Bumps, Bagpuss, Send it, Corner of Death Towbal, Don’t Send It,
- For red gradings look out for: Loam Lover, Trig 2 Tyre, Rootmageddon, Get Out of Jail Free and A river runs through it.
- There are many more (including a broad selection of blues). trail crew always working on new developments and upkeep.
Other Stuff
- It’s managed by the Pitmedden Trail Crew with the landowner's permission.
- They are a member of "Tayside Trails Association" which is a collaboration between various organisations including; Forestry and Land Scotland, Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland, Coupar Angus Trails Association, Kinnoull and Deuchny Trail Crew and Dunkeld and Birnam Trail Crew.
- No facilities bar parking so come prepared.
