Just think, this isn't a commercial bike park or trailcentre, this area is an area looked after by the local community. It's maintained by volunteers and a couple of paid contractors through the trail association, which is funded by rider donations and support from local businesses - yes it's free to ride, but setting up a regular donation or contributing each time you visit will help the people keeping this place running well.
World Class Enduro Trails - hosting regional, national and International level events. A spectrum of trails from the easier ones like Flat White and Lower Wardell Way right through to the likes of Wolferine. Enough trails to get 4 days riding without repeating trails.
Lacks facilities but that just means you park in town, visit one of the 4 bike shops, numerous cafes and eateries , etc.
There's a Stay For Night scheme at the FLS Car Park in Innerleithen for those in self contained motorhomes, Airbnb, camping and hotels too.
Good length trails; some +1.6km descents.
Minimal trail braiding.
No need committing to big loops, just do laps and make up the ride according to the weather and how you're riding.
No bike wash, but there's one apparently coming in Innerleithen with showers too.

This is my coping mechanism: when my world needs puting to rights these fantastic trails have it all ... they always push my limits: skill, focus, concentration, exhilaration ... and after a huge grin factor ... order is restored.
