I live locally and only just started to get into mountain biking so the trails at Comrie have been perfect as there are great trails to enjoy at all levels. Lovely surroundings too!
The bike shop, café and shop are all good too, plus you can stay if you don't live locally.
Great place to spend some time on and off your bike
What do you like?
Great trails and skills park to practice your skills.
Lovely surroundings and also a great café, shop and bike shop and friendly helpful people.
Local club including junior coaching is based there.
What it lacks in trail km it more than makes up for in fun. The cafe, camping, bunkhouse and Kata's make a long stay possible. And the friendly 'Crofters' makes any visit a highlight.
What do you like?
Brilliant mixture of technical old-school trails at all grades and fast fun free-ride with duel slalom. Thriving Juniors club coaching on the bike park and the best bike shop around. Oh, and probably the best cafe at any bike park.
As above, trail centre with a great atmosphere and something for all. Even non cyclists can enjoy a pleasant day out and scrumptious food at the Tea Garden.
What do you like?
Nice natural trails with stunning scenery, excellent cafe at the Tea Garden (absolutely not a greasy spoon cafe), great friendly atmosphere at the Croft. Suitable for all levels.
What could be improved?
I can't get down the Black trails without bottling out at various points...
Everything you need for a great day out biking with the kids. Great trails, friendly and knowledgable staff and delicious cakes to boot! Camping out next time for sure - one day is not enough!
