Hidden gems
Some decent trails, much better in the summer though and takes a while to dry
What do you like?
Some great hidden trails in the forest, local knowledge is helpful but fun to find them yourself, the fire roads means it’s easy to find your way around. Good cafe at the main visitors centre but other car parks get you into the forest just as well. Some stunning views to be had too.
What could be improved?
It’s particularly muddy through the winter months and does take a while to dry.
