Best thing here is the off-piste

Yeah, a neat go-to in the spring and summer. The call-out here is the off-piste trails. That's definitely where the most fun is to be had. Just a shame there aren't more of them. The official trails are also good and well-maintained.

What do you like?

  • off-piste
  • steep and techy in places
  • facilities and parking choices
  • Neat newish skills area for sessioning jumps

What could be improved?

  • gets silly muddy in the winter season
  • could do with more off-piste trails
  • a bike shop with vibe be nice

Would you recommend?

yes

Disappointed

Travelled along way to ride this, the Olympic trail. Don’t think I found it and it wasn’t sign posted. Did the red trail and was very disappointed. It was short and uninteresting.

What do you like?

Nice single track through the trees.

What could be improved?

Too many options and turns/intersections so had to slowdown and assess the route which spoiled the flow.

Would you recommend?

no

Off Piste Where the Real fun is

I think QECP has an underrated set up. The blue is a rollercoaster and the red although short is fun (although think it could be teched up a bit by todays standards of reds). The real fun though is the combination of neat off piste trails here. The new skills park that hasn't quite opened will be good for helping get folk into the sport and er skill development I guess. Cafe OK and parking decent.

What do you like?

- Off piste Trails - The blue

What could be improved?

- Could do with making some of the off piste official as natural cut trails or developing a flow red or techie black trail.

Would you recommend?

yes

Not too shabby

Much has been said of late about the new sections of trail at the QECP so we thought we’d pay it a visit. So 6 of us made the 80 mile journey to QECP yesterday frankly not expecting too much. We’d heard of the MBR Award for the Blue trail which sounded fun, but we had also heard that the Red trail was very very sketchy in the wet. Well as you’ll see from the video, we are obviously pretty hardcore here in Wiltshire – or just used to the sticky mud! In my opinion you can ride both trails in all conditions, but the Blue will definitely hold up better in the wet. Don't dismiss it and when its dry it must a a real blast..

What do you like?

Enough for a few hours Great new BLUE sections Some challenging little climbs (RED) Flowy Accessible for all abilities

What could be improved?

Maybe not enough for advanced riders

Would you recommend?

*Yes*
