The venue includes a large pump track, skills and progression areas, and multiple lines featuring jumps and drops. There is also the ‘Phoenix Lap’, a 2km cross-country perimeter bike park trail. Bike Park

  • The original bike park set-up includes beginner and intermediate lines packed with jumps and berms. There is a large pump track, an intermediate jump line, and more advanced jump lines featuring gaps and doubles. This area is designed to support rider progression.
  • There is a skills and progression area with start ramps feeding into lines made up of tabletops, doubles, drops, and berms.
  • Mulch jumps are available as a dedicated training area.
  • There is a Drop City progression area with its own push-up, focused on developing drop technique.

The North Summit Bike Park

  • On the opposite side of the A14, the North Summit area focuses on more advanced riding. This side of the park brings together dirt jump lines, flow-style trails, and larger features aimed at experienced riders.
  • Flow Trails provide longer, smoother runs, ranging from blue-level riding through to pro-level features.
  • Shipping Lane — new for 2025: a container-based line within the dirt jump area, featuring tables and rollers through the container and a gap drop exit (inspect before riding).

Cross Country - Phoenix Lap

  • The Phoenix Lap is a 2km cross-country and cyclocross-style loop featuring jumps, tabletops, a rock feature, and drops, running around the perimeter of the site.

Other Stuff

  • Phoenix CycleWorks operates the park. The site includes an on-site bike shop and workshop, bike hire, a cafe, and organised coaching sessions. The venue also hosts events, including the Phoenix Rising Festival. Check the official website for opening times, prices, and advance booking.
  • Opening Times: Summer (April to October): 9am to 6pm; Winter (November to March): 9am to 4pm

Great variety, get your whole family into dirt!!

First off, this place is great. If you don't have a family, come make new friends and learn some tips. If you have a family that's cool too; bring them all along. Plenty of variety for all skill levels and facilities to observe from if you don't cope well with two wheels. Prices are amazing and a shop with snacks is on site.
They have options for little beginners and rentals available if you want to try it out. With people of all skill levels around, and paths clearly marked it's easy to spend a whole day out.

What do you like?

Quality and maintenance of the grounds are the best I've ever seen. The jumps are kept fresh and plenty of adjustments to keep the lines interesting enough to continue development of you are looking to improve your jump game. Staff are helpful. Shop on site is adequate and good availability is spot on. Trail marking and warning signs plenty, make for a great day out on the bikes.

What could be improved?

The only bad points will be the lovely weather. Also the store front area and massive back areas are divided, so if you move around to the back you have to make the walk of shame if you parked in the front and have a flat. The only other complaint is that it can be a victim to the winds, which make jumping not so much fun. Can also be over crowded at times, but this rarely has happened to us.

I just love everything about it. Started going there about one year ago, so many different lines to choose and learn. Everyone there is incredibly helpful and friendly, made us feel at home, Phoenix became our park of choice every weekend!

Jump park

Really good jump park

What do you like?

Lots of jumps lines. Everything from beginner to pro. If you want to improve your jumping this is the place.

What could be improved?

Almost exclusively jump lines. If jumping is not your thing this is not for you. Also if the wind is up the jumps can be tricky as the site is very exposed. Toilets are not nice.

Would you recommend?

yes
