The venue includes a large pump track, skills and progression areas, and multiple lines featuring jumps and drops. There is also the ‘Phoenix Lap’, a 2km cross-country perimeter bike park trail. Facilities on site include a bike shop, bike hire, workshop, and cafe. Booking online before visiting is recommended.

Bike Park

  • The original bike park set-up includes beginner and intermediate lines packed with jumps and berms. There is a large pump track, an intermediate jump line, and more advanced jump lines featuring gaps and doubles. This area is designed to support rider progression.
  • There is a skills and progression area with start ramps feeding into lines made up of tabletops, doubles, drops, and berms.
  • Mulch jumps are available as a dedicated training area.
  • There is a Drop City progression area with its own push-up, focused on developing drop technique.

The North Summit Bike Park

  • On the opposite side of the A14, the North Summit area focuses on more advanced riding. This side of the park brings together dirt jump lines, flow-style trails, and larger features aimed at experienced riders.
  • Flow Trails provide longer, smoother runs, ranging from blue-level riding through to pro-level features.
  • Shipping Lane — new for 2025: a container-based line within the dirt jump area, featuring tables and rollers through the container and a gap drop exit (inspect before riding).

Cross Country - Phoenix Lap

  • The Phoenix Lap is a 2km cross-country and cyclocross-style loop featuring jumps, tabletops, a rock feature, and drops, running around the perimeter of the site.

Other Stuff

  • Phoenix CycleWorks operates the park. The site includes an on-site bike shop and workshop, bike hire, a cafe, and organised coaching sessions. The venue also hosts events, including the Phoenix Rising Festival. Check the official website for opening times, prices, and advance booking.
  • Opening Times: Summer (April to October): 9am to 6pm; Winter (November to March): 9am to 4pm

Best jump spot

Amazing using of the space and some incredible jump lines. Definitely the UK answer to La Poma and more with the added bonus that most of it works for all mountain bikes and not just jump bikes. Would love to see more mid difficulty trails like the heavily sessioned left hand dirt jump line of the north summit. Excellent facilities onsite and a great shop.

What do you like?

Some of the best built jump lines in a public bike park in the uk and well maintained and constantly evolving for the better. Friendly staff and a good inclusive vibe at this spot.

What could be improved?

Wind can be a limiting factor for some of the bigger lines but they have had the great idea to build in both directions to counter this as much as possible.

Would love to see more mid difficulty trails like the heavily sessioned left hand dirt jump line of the north summit.

BEST PLACE FOR EVERYONE!!

This place has helped me and others I ride with gain so much skill and confidence in such a short period of time! The consistency with the trails keeping switched up to keep them a little more different and to keep you on your game is unreal! Shout out to the build crew and the people that run it, should be proud of how far the park has come in a short space of time! :)

What do you like?

Could use a little gardening work at times 😆
