The DH track is great, big berms, lots of very smooth tables and fast jump sections.
Big amount of trails to choose from.
Cafe and shop in the centre.

What could be improved?
The push up for the DH track is very long unless you walk back up the track itself (which is quite steep and dangerous if other bikers are riding down).
Only been the once and it was ok. Loved the initial singletrack climb but too many fireroads after this - there seems space to move the trail into the trees. Good descents on varied trails. Amazing view from the top and I am told you can easily head out into the wider area for a bigger loop. The facilities are top notch and the minis had s great day.
What do you like?
Great facilities for all
Fun trails
Easy to head off the main trails
Grizedale - don't let the commercial nature put you off
Lets face it Grizedale is one of the most commercial places in the lakes attacting Londoners by the drove wanting to experience "The Lakes".
This gives great facilities but the "North Face" just touches the surface of what's available. If you like to explore or you have a local guide you can have a great time dropping down to the banks of coniston on epic trails and back up the hill for more awesomeness. Follow the waymarked trail and its average at best.
What do you like?
Easy access, lots to choose from, great views.
What could be improved?
Can be busy, VERY busy especially with city folk at peak times.
Signposted Bike trail isnt the best - go explore, get a OS map, ASK locals or get a guide.
My review is for the whole forest, not the north face trail.
