10/10 would recommend.
John is a quality guy, running a quality place.
Such good vibes here. I always get chatting to people when i'm down and it's good to get to know some of the regulars too!
What do you like?
The trails are fantastic. Top section has an Alpine Ski Resort vibe with nicely groomed track with northshore drops and bridges and lovely smooth tabletops. It's effortless fun.
Then you hit the woods at the bottom where shit changes up and you have to be on your A-game. Depending on which line you take, you'll be greeted with some lovely rooty techy descents with little rutty berms here and there. There's a few sketchy kickers and other features you can drop off. It's a huge contrast to the top section but is as equally fun.
The push up to the top is actually one of the easiest in the area. It's not too steep and it's a dedicated path all the way.
What could be improved?
Literally none. John, Family and the FJ Trails crew have everything provided. I cant think how anyone could have a bad thing to say about this place!
Great MTB park. Really fun to visit. Cant wait for the next visit there.
What do you like?
First time going. Great fun. Grest atmosphere. Everyonr there was friendly and kind. The track itself was awesome. The onsite facility were great and had everything.
Perfect for any skill level as you have to walk the course and pick out which bits you cant do and can do.
Loads of drops. Berns. Bridges. Jumps. Etc. One the best mtb parks there is in the north.
Pretty cheap too
Been going to farmer Johns since it pretty much began, when there was a couple of small tracks and the "shed jump". Watching it grow year on year and seeing it as the "bike park" it is today makes you realise how much effort goes into a place like this. John and the crew are constantly fixing, maintaining, and building new things and they do an amazing job. Make me feel like part of the family when ever I head up there.
Thanks guys.
See you soon.

Brilliant place to ride for beginners through to experts. You can start off small and build your way up. Fantastic track to hone your skills.
Has everything there from huge Dirt Jumps to berm tracks.
New addition of the dual slalom track is brilliant fun to sort out who is the best rider between mates.
Cheap day tickets and very cheap year passes, makes this expensive sport a little more reasonable when you ride at Johns.
Cafe food is spot on! Proper butchers meats (well it is on a farm), and the prices are very reasonable, unlike most other trail centres and bike parks.
On site camping or wooden huts/ houses to stay in.
Super Friendly (slightly mental) staff are always on hand to help out with anything from food/advice to first aid.
The Farmer Johns Big Weekener race that happens one a year mid September is a race/ weekend is like nothing you have ever seen or heard about before!!
Brilliant place!
What could be improved?
Struggling to think of any.
No uplift.
But it's not a bad push up at all.
