Description
Cut Gate Path mountain bike trail is in the Peak District in Derbyshire. It is a classic technically challenging natural trail. It's an out-and-back trail and can be ridden either North to South or South to North. It's a tough trail so don't be too disheartened if you are walking at times. The trail is technical singletrack in a remote, exposed setting. Expect lots of rock, steep descents, and tough technical climbs. There is also some man-made stuff thrown in and it's renowned for the challenging technical steps at the bottom near Cold Side. It can get boggy in wet weather.
