Bodmin Beast (Blue with Red Sections)
- The Bodmin Beast trail is a moderate ability 12km MTB trail (with Red sections). It has loads of single-track, a fair sharing of technical climbs and descents, tight bermed corners, small step downs, rollers and tabletops.
- The Bodmin Beast trail also includes 2 additional (optional) Red sections. There is ‘Dialled-In Dave’ (0.9km) which is natural, flowing and pretty fast and then secondly ‘Hell’s Teeth’ (1.8km) which has a tough climb, is steep in places, has a number of technical features and a steep bermed final descent.
Multi-User Forest Roads
- The woods also have a lot of gravel based forest roads that families can cycle through. These are multi-purpose so watch out for walkers, horse riders and dogs etc.
Groups and Clubs
- Cardinham Trail Riders (active Facebook group for rides)
Other Stuff
- They are pretty close to the Gawton Gravity Hub DH track.
