🥇 Trail of the Year – Winner Announced!
Stunning forest scenery as you follow the trails but in terms of the MTB track it’s self, I’d say its a great place to ride if your local but I wouldn’t make a special trip for it.
Decent trails for general fitness as there is a lot of flat and uphill riding with some interesting features along the way like the rock gardens.
The downhill sections have potential but currently are sketchy, berms are all made of very loose gravel and you will find your self sliding if you’re carrying any speed which isn’t great for trying to build confidence. A lot of them don’t flow nicely.
No jumps but a couple of pump sections.
The black run is very short and not really a black, and the reds in any other MTB park would be a green.
The car park is very expensive, fine if your spending the whole day here but if you want to do a lap of the red trail and head off (which would prob take 1 and a half hours all in) that’s going to cost 8quid!
IT HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL! Needs a talented trail builder, lots of volunteers and some investment and this could be the best place to ride in Kent but at the moment it’s slightly disappointing.
The forest and nature makes this place pretty special.
Trail flow, surface grading, fix the berms, some more advanced trails, parkings costs.

Good for a workout and has some fun bits. Facilities are decent and a great bike shop.

Not really a mtb place just a few flat single track through a wood. At any bike park it would be a green as nothing like a red.
Only 9 miles so can leave quickly
Nothing there a 5 yr old couldn't ride. It's a shame they don't put a real mtb trail in
