Mount Snowdon
- Worth some focus are the trails on Mount Snowdon itself. With an elevation of 1085 metres (3559 feet), it is the largest peak in the UK outside of Scotland so there is a lot of descent to go after.
- Two of the main MTB routes are The Llanberis Path and the Snowdon Ranger path. They are Black and Double black respectively. In addition there is the Rhyd Ddu trail. It is the most technical of the three.
- All the trails on Mount Snowdon are subject to a voluntary bike ban. This means from 10 am to 5 pm from the beginning of May until the end of September there is no riding. These paths are shared by walkers so for the best ride and to avoid the conflict please respect the ban. To be prepared check out this article here.
