Mix and match
Been around a while and changes are coming. Volunteer Trailfairies keep the trails in good nick. Add snow and frost and the trails have another level of fun added.
What do you like?
So many options from green, blue, red, black and skills sections. You can mix and match the trails to get the most from your visit. I warm up on green as it is flowing and gets more technical towards the end so you can shake down and make sure your bike is set up before the more technical trails. A black section climb, red and fast blues back down. Local low cost accommodation and town nearby with shops and amenities. 30 mins from Edinburgh. Good to see skills courses from various providers getting more folk enjoying heir bikes.
What could be improved?
Near Edinburgh so gets busy on a saturday morning, occasional queues at the popular red and blues.
